Picture nights will be held Monday November 2nd, Tuesday November 3rd and Wednesday November 4th at Eble Ice Arena. The schedule is final for all teams other than Mites and Mini Mites, since evaluations for those teams are not yet complete.
Team managers for Squirts, PeeWees and Bantams can add their picture night times to Sports Engine. All players should arrive fully dressed (other than skate and helmets) in their black game jersey.
In order to keep the players, coaches, volunteers and photographers safe, we have some new procedures for picture nights this year:
-Photographers will be wearing a facemask at all times.
-Photographers will remain socially distanced at all times. Posing will be done verbally.
-Only one team will be allowed in the lobby for pictures at each time slot. Time slots have been shortened to 10 minutes per team to minimize wait times so please be on time and come fully dressed.
-Parents will be asked to remain outside or in their car during pictures to minimize the crowd in the lobby.
-Cones will be set out so the players will be distanced as they wait for the individual photos.
-Players will wear masks until their turn to be photographed.
-No physical paperwork will be used. Instead, the player information from each team roster will be imported into the Empire system and each player will only need to provide his or her name to the photographer.
-Team photos will be created virtually.
-Volunteer needs are still being determined.
We understand that these procedures create some extra inconvenience for players and parents, and ask for your patience and understanding. Picture night is by no means required, and any families that are uncomfortable with attending should not feel that they have to.
If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Parsons, picture night coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 919-824-6624.
