Late REGISTRATION FOR 2024-2025 Season Now Open

Late registration for the 2024-2025 season is open through August 30th. Please contact VP Off Ice if you have any questions.

There will be a late fee of $50 attached to any late registrations, with the exception of new to WCYHA families. The reason for this is to accurately plan the season.

Impact Hockey Academy Fall Speed Camp

FALL SPEED CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

The 2024 Fall Speed Camp registration is now open. This camp is designed to prepare our athletes for their association season by continuing to focus on a solid skating foundation with proper balance, agility and lateral movement. All of which are keys to a successful stride. This 4-week fall session is a condensed version of our 9-week summer program designed to push athlete's outside their comfort zone to reach new heights heading into the 2024-25 season.

Space is limited to 45 skaters per session at U10-U14 and 55 skaters per session at U8 and will fill fast.

Attached are the links to the registration for the camp with the dates and times. The camp will run Aug 20th-Sept 12th at Naga Waukee Ice Arena:

  • Tuesdays 8/20,8/27,9/3,9/10:
    • U10—5:30-6:30pm
    • U12—6:45-7:45pm
    •  U14—8:00-9:00pm
  • Wednesdays 8/21,8/28,9/4,9/11:
    • U10—5:30-6:30
    • U12—6:45-7:45
  • Thursdays: 8/22,8/29,9/5,9/12:     
    • U8—5:30-6:30pm
    • U14—6:45-7:45

Learn to Skate

Cost $85

Wednesday's 5:30 - 6:00pm  4-8 year olds

Hockey Learn to Skate: 5 weeks. Focuses on basic skating skills needed to play hockey. Pucks and sticks are not used.

Equipment Requirements

  • Helmet (with face mask recommended)
  • Hockey Skates – but Free Rentals will be available at all lessons
  • Knee pads or hockey shinguards
  • Elbow pads
  • Gloves or mittens

 

  • Session 1: May 29th - June 26th
  • Session 2: July 10th - August 7th

Learn to Play Hockey

Cost $85

Wednesday's 6:00 - 6:30pm 4-11 year olds

5 weeks - Must have taken a learn to skate class to participate. Introduces the basics of hockey. Stickhandling, shooting, passing, and game play are taught.

Equipment Requirements 

  • Helmet with Facemask
  • Hockey Skates – but Free Rentals will be available at all lessons
  • Hockey shinguards
  • Elbow pads
  • Gloves or mittens

Waukesha County Youth Hockey Association

WCYHA, founded in 1974, is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of youth hockey and run by dedicated volunteers. We are an affiliate of USA Hockey and the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association. We currently serve children in a defined territory, determined by WAHA, in the following school districts: Kettle Moraine, Mukwonago, portions of New Berlin (New Berlin West High School boundary), Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, and Waukesha (except Town of Brookfield). Please contact the VP Off-Ice with any questions about territorial eligibility.
